Annual Report 2025

SSAB has today March 17, 2026 published its Annual Report and the Corporate Governance Report 2025. The Annual Report provides an overview of SSAB’s financial and sustainability performance in 2025.

Updates on the situation at the new steel plant construction site in Luleå.

SSAB is constructing the world’s most electrified steel mill in Luleå, with completion planned for the end of 2029. Construction activities were temporarily paused on 3 April following reported illness cases, reflecting SSAB’s principle that safety always comes first. Ahead of and during construction, SSAB has carried out extensive soil investigations, both as part of the environmental permitting process and through additional surveys as new areas have become accessible. Thousands of samples have been analysed for relevant substance groups.
